Early life and career

Connor Andrew McDavid was born on January 13, 1997 in Richmond Hill, Ontario. He began playing hockey at a young age and quickly showed a natural talent for the game. McDavid played in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) for the Erie Otters from 2012 to 2015. He was named the OHL Player of the Year in 2015 and was selected first overall by the Edmonton Oilers in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.

NHL career
